MUSIC VIDEOS

The music videos I have directed have been intentionally and dualistically short films and music videos. In some cases (with limitations permitting) I have converted the music video in to its other intended form, a stand alone short film. This was realised with TENGU Birdmen of the Moutains which won numerous awards in film festivals around the world and most recently I created the music video for the band STEAK’s lead track ‘Ancestors’ using my new film MAD LORD Samurai of 1000 Death.

STEAK - ANCESTORS

When a great samurai lord loses his mind the surrounding samurai clans take advantage of his weakness.

ESO - WE ARE WATCHING YOU

This narrative explores a post apocalyptic world where groups of individuals live outside of the cities. Rejecting technology to escape the tyranny of the new world order.

STEAK - RISING

A couple of addicts stumble across the ultimate high. Finding an unmanageable ecstasy from being brought back from death.

This 8 min music video was created using the imagery from the Steak / Mad Lord comic book, as part of the interconnected body of work for the Mad Lord Project.
